Genesis 3:8

Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden.

We went over this chapter in my worldviews class this week, and I got caught up in this verse. I've been reading it every morning since. I wonder what the sound of the Lord is. To think that with every animal in existence was living in the same garden as them, yet they didn't even have to see the Lord coming. They heard him, and they knew who it was. He didn't even have to speak. His very existence and presence was a sound that they were familiar with.
So profound. I  want to know him that well. To the point where he doesn't have to say a word, I don't have to look around the room and see him. I want to know the sound of his presence so well, that there isn't a doubt in my mind that he is there.
I want to learn the sound of my King.
